SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n

For your safety, all rooms and public areas are equipped with a fire detection system. Nevertheless, we would like to draw your attention to the following recommendations.<\/p>\n\n

Emergency exits: <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The evacuation plan is located on the back of your room’s entrance door.<\/p>\n\n

Emergency exits on your floor are clearly marked, and the escape route is indicated by signs showing which stairs to use.<\/p>\n\n

However, if thick smoke develops, you may have difficulty seeing them. Please locate them as soon as you arrive. Similarly, check the location of the fire extinguishers. <\/p>\n\n

In the event of a fire, stay as close to the floor as possible and DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!<\/p>\n\n

If you discover a fire:<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

– If the fire is minor, you may extinguish it and inform the reception of your action.<\/p>\n\n

– OTHERWISE, activate the nearest alarm button.<\/p>\n\n

– Notify the reception.<\/p>\n\n

– Leave the building, taking your room key with you if possible. – If you are unable to leave your room, close the door to protect yourself from the fire.<\/p>\n\n

If a fire starts in your room:<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

– Leave your room immediately, taking your key with you.<\/p>\n\n

– Be sure to close all doors and windows behind you.<\/p>\n\n

– Activate the nearest alarm button.<\/p>\n\n

– Call the reception<\/p>\n\n

– Warn your neighbors.<\/p>\n\n

– Proceed to the emergency exit.<\/p>\n\n

DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

If you must evacuate your room:<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

– Leave the premises immediately if the fire alarm sounds. <\/p>\n\n

– Take your room key and move carefully.<\/p>\n\n

– Feel the door and handle with the back of your hand. If the door or handle feels abnormally hot, do not open it. If the door is not hot, open it cautiously, but be prepared to close it immediately if necessary (for example, in case of thick smoke).<\/p>\n\n

– If there is smoke in the corridors, stay as close to the floor as possible. Crawl on your hands and knees if necessary. Go immediately to the nearest emergency exit.<\/p>\n\n

– Do not use the elevator.<\/p>\n\n

– If the emergency exit is blocked, return to your room. Evacuation will then take place from the outside with the assistance of the fire department.<\/p>\n\n

If you must remain in your room:<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Do not panic! Your room is the safest place to protect yourself from the fire. Here are some instructions on what to do while waiting for help. <\/p>\n\n

– Turn off the air conditioning and heating.<\/p>\n\n

– Fill your sink with water (to be used as a water reserve).<\/p>\n\n

– Report your presence and room number to the reception. <\/p>\n\n

-Seal the bottom of your door and the air vents with sheets, towels, or wet cloths. You can use the wastebasket to carry water if smoke enters your room.<\/p>\n\n

-Open the curtains in front of the window.-If smoke still enters your room, cover your head with a damp towel to protect yourself.– Do not open the window if smoke or flames are coming from outside on a lower floor. <\/p>\n\n

– As a last resort, if the smoke persists and becomes unbreathable, you may open the window slightly. If the window is stuck, break the glass with a chair or a drawer. <\/p>\n\n
